AN EVENING WITH STEPHEN!
Join us for a special evening with Stephen Flood, the highly respected bartender from Riviera. This unique experience puts a fresh twist on our usual cocktail classes — instead of making the drinks yourself, you’ll sit back and enjoy as Stephen crafts three exceptional cocktails for you. Throughout the evening, he’ll guide the class through the stories, ingredients, techniques, and flavour pairings behind some of his favourite creations. Expect expertly handcrafted cocktails, engaging conversation, and plenty of insider knowledge from one of the industry’s best.
Stephen Flood has been a bartender in Ottawa for two decades, beginning his career at the Black Tomato in the Byward Market. While working at the Black Tomato, he could be found moonlighting at El Camino in its early years.
Those shifts led to him becoming involved in the project that became Riviera, a 104-seat restaurant in a glamorous former bank on Sparks Street in 2016.
Fast forward to 2025, the bar team Mr. Flood leads at Riviera was just awarded the @canadasbest100 award for best Restaurant Bar in Canada. And he’s looking forward to teaching you how to make three of his most popular creations at Riviera.
