Located in Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny appellations of the Loire Valley. Established in 1961 by Roger Tessier, then Philippe Tessier took over the domaine in 1981 and passed it on to his son, Simon, in 2020. Nestled along the route of the Loire’s iconic castles, the estate benefits from a unique microclimate influenced by the Loire River and the surrounding forested areas. As Simon explains: “We champion a rural, artisanal, honest, and sincere approach to viticulture. A wine should express the place it comes from, reflect the climatic conditions of the year, and embody a touch of the winemaker who crafted it, all while respecting the life of the soil and the environment. It should provide pleasure but, above all, be healthy, vibrant, and digestible—a natural wine.”
