Claudia Ferrero 'Pepita' Super Tuscan

Claudia Ferrero and her late husband/winemaker Pablo Härri's estate produces small batches of Brunello di Montalcino and Tuscan red blends in the southwestern corner of Montalcino. Claudia's husband, Pablo, has been a winemaker in Montalcino since the 80s, and he spent 15 years as the lead winemaker at Banfi. This delicious Super Tuscan (named for using noble French grapes in a Tuscan red blend) is named for one of their daughters, Pepita.
Aged 10 months in 500L barrels.
