Scout Wines Syrah

A deep, complex, and moody little syrah number from beautiful British Columbia. Fan-fave Scout has joined us in Ontario to flaunt their rich (and warmer) grape growing territory. This syrah was aged for 7 months into clay amphora (also know by the Georgian title: qvevri) and bottled without fining or filtration. This red is so so very alive (and sometimes finishes with a hint of fizz!) “It was started in 2018 by four friends, Maggie, Murray, Carly and Aaron. We have worked with wine in various capacities, from sales, to winemaking, to farming for over 12 years. We share a dream to make minimalist, farm-driven wines”.

Tasting Notes: blackcurrant, grape crush, dried flowers crushed between book pages, rhubarb, dark berry coulis, wool blanket.
