Luigi Baudana and his wife, Fiorina, started their vinification journey with the sole purpose of serving their own family incredible wines from the Langhe subregion of Piedmont.
In 1996, the estate bottled its first publicly available Barolo. By 2009, they entrusted the Vaira family to carry on their legacy and reinvigorated Langhe wines from the past while keeping their spirit.
The Dragon, symbol of courage, was the last drawing by Italian artist Gianni Gallo. His wish for the Vaira Family’s new adventure.
