Details
Andrew and Emma Nielson are at the helm of this gorgeous and highly-sustainable Beaujolais winery. This wine hails from Lancié, adjacent to Fleurie, is considered by some to be the forgotten cru of Beaujolais. The grapes were fermented whole-cluster in concrete for ten days before being pressed off into tank and foudre for a nine-month rest. This wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without added sulphites.
Region: Lancié, Beaujolais, France
Grapes: Gamay
Tasting Notes: black cherry skins, pink peppercorn, wild strawberry, sage.
