Discover the beautiful relationship between brandy and fruit in this flavour-filled cocktail workshop.
From the vineyards of France to the orchards of Normandy and the fruit-growing regions of South America and beyond, brandy has been shaped by the fruit it comes from. In this workshop, we’ll explore a range of fruit-based spirits — from Cognac and Armagnac to Calvados, pisco and fruit brandies — and discover how each brings its own character to a cocktail.
You’ll create three unique cocktails, each showcasing a different spirit and fruit pairing. Expect bright citrus, juicy orchard fruit, rich stone fruit and unexpected combinations, with flavours ranging from crisp and refreshing to rich and warming.
Along the way, we’ll explore the difference between grape and fruit brandies, discover some of the classic cocktails that made these spirits famous, and experiment with modern ways to bring fruit and brandy together.
